Bald ist der Start unserer Expedition und wir sind alle fest am Vorbereiten. Da gibt es tausend Dinge und Details die nicht vergessen werden dürfen, denn sind wir erst mal unterwegs kann nur noch improvisiert werden. Die ganze Crew hat ihe Jobs gefasst und jeder gibt sein Bestes damit dann nichts anbrennt. Die Routen sind geplant und die GPS warten auf die definitiven Tracks.

An alle unsere Freunde und Helfer in Australien die uns auf unserer Expedition mit Rat und Tat, mit Material und ihrer Zeit bei unseren Problemen geholfen haben .... Wir haben unser Versprechen eingehalten, wir bedanken uns bei Euch allen für Eure Hilfe mit einer grosszügigen Spende an den Flying Doctor Service. Während unseren Reisen mussten wir nur mit technischen Problemen kämpfen und wurden von gesundheitlichen verschont.

Mit unserer Spende wollen wir die Institution des Flying Doctor Service unterstützen. Die Doctors bringen ihre medizinische Hilfe bis auf die abgelegensten Airstrips im australischen Outback. Auf die Hilfe aus der Luft sind die Mates and Gals in den abgelegenen Stations und den unwegsamen Gebieten in Australien angewiesen.

I guess you will not be alone there as many Aussies are taken to the road these days, not the same when we got ‘lost’ in the Gulf of Carpentaria country years ago! (with no winch!) Are you planning to see us in the East? <<

We have finally arrived back in Perth after a delay of one week in Broome as the oil pump failed on the Land Rover near Fitzroy Crossing. Another pump was sent under warranty from Melbourne but it means I am back at work a week later than expected. We have followed the rest of your trip on the web site and you guys sure packed a lot into 6 weeks. David and Kathy
